Jan 22, 2011 - Day 22 - Roughrider Persuasion

Saskatchewan Roughrider Brent Hawkins (just so happens to be #22 on day 22 of the blog) discusses the play with a young ref at a local game. Thirteen of the Roughriders played the Nipawin Hawks alumni today in "the cage." Note the other faces in the picture watching the play as Brent has words with our referee. Also in this picture from the Roughriders is #21 Luc Mullinder, #11 Marcus Adams, #16 Jeremy O'Day, and #17 Tamon George. It was no surprise that there was definitely some skill on the ice with Chris Getzlaff (brother of Ryan Getzlaff from Anaheim Ducks). It was also no surprise that there was a couple Riders that were very, very "green" when it came to skating.
