I forgot to take my camera to a school function we had tonight so I had to find something at home to take pictures of. Here we have some AZ green tea's that my wifey bought for me. They're kind of rare in the cans out this way so it's a treat. Almost like gold. But where's the rainbow???

All around our area the water is moving! With plus temperatures as high as 16*C last week and -10*C as lows over night we had the perfect conditions for a shot like this.

Sarah made cinnamon buns today which were delicious. Using some creative lighting I was able to reflect a white backdrop which made it look like fog coming over this tasty specimen. Let it be known this mystery has been solved....... and I have been found guilty.

I had so much fun with the pictures from yesterday I thought I'd keep editing, uploading and posting them today. Shot yesterday, tweaked today here's another shot of our old bridge. With the sun just out of frame to the left beating down on our bridge as a vehicle kicks up dust leaving the far end this was a fantastic moment in time.

I love this shot I got to take in the middle of the old bridge today. The bridge is such a cliche place to take pictures in Nipawin so I avoided it until today, after the ice broke up. It was fun. The light was harsh for being late afternoon, but it was great for creating shadows like this :)

I had to go for a jump on the trampoline today with it being so gorgeous outside. Ended up getting a shoe full of snow and walked back to the house in bare feet. The trampoline sesh wasn't too cold... but the walk back was :D

Apr 6, 2011 - Day 96 - Tribute to one of the greatest bikes of all time... the KLR 650
A week or so ago Dan from the Alliance Church and I were talking bikes and the KLR 650 came up in conversation. A Burgman also came up but we didn't dwell on that bike for too long. It turns out I had rode one around for a while a few years back and he had owned one at one point. Today he gave me a model of the KLR at lunch and I had to snap a pic of it in the back yard. I'm still perplexed how after his run with the Dukes, and then onto Mr. Kent (Superman's dad from Smallville) he could turn into the bad guy.

It was a cool but tolerable evening outside tonight so I took my toy goose hunting game out to the cul-de-sac. Here's the goose taking flight down the street. On two different runs it ended up a long ways onto yards with 2 feet of snow still. That made for an interesting retrieval.
