This happens to be one of my little brother's teddy bears from when he was young. He (the bear) ended up coming out our way when some of my baby stuff came out. We put the crib up a little while ago and it looked like the bear was in prison. :) Can't wait til the baby comes and she can hang out with a bunch of new friends

Feb 27, 2011 - Day 58 - Without a Trace
My wife bought me the first season of "Without a Trace" on DVD about a year ago. She has made it through them all but I haven't. I have always liked the show, but just didn't get around to watching it. We watched a great episode last night called "Silent Partner."
Here is the link to it hosted by megavideo from Project Free TV:

Feb 26B, 2011 - Day 57 - Don't Stop Believin
We were on our roadie (road trip) back home on Saturday and I snagged a pic of the ethanol plant at Minnedosa. As I turned back onto the number 10 highway I spotted this sign. It made Sarah and I laugh. My Jeep had been run through -33*C to -35*Celcius (almost the same numbers in Fahrenheit) all morning as well as some of the night before. Not only was it cold but it seemed like we were continually fighting the wind. This sign is exactly what the Jeep needed to hear.
Can't you just hear it now???? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rfUYuIVbFg0 .... Oh by the way, the original song is the real deal.... Glee needs to find other songs than classics to destroy
Feb 26A, 2011 - Day 57 - 45 minutes out
Had to stop and get a picture of the ethanol plant not too far from home. It was super cold and the stacks looked like they were letting out marshmellows and pillows.
Feb 25, 2011 - Day 56 - Koopa Roadie
Koopa came on a roadie with us this week to MB. He just hung out on the dash, obviously a little embarrassed now with something hanging off his nose! He was a good guy to have around.

Feb 21, 2011 - Day 52 - How much snow?
I wanted to see how much snow there actually was in the back yard. Turns out that number where I checked was 31-32." I can't wait for this stuff to go.....

Feb 20, 2011 - Day 51 - Not Today
With snow up to my waist in some spots in the backyard, I don't think there will be time to trampoline today. However I think there will be time to get all the snow off it so the trampoline doesn't get wrecked.

Feb 19, 2011 - Day 50 - Saturday Ride
On our way to Prince Albert we stopped just past Smeaton to get some pics of a few snowmobilers. This one was my favorite by far.

Feb 18, 2011 - Day 49 - Looking Back
Mom arrived at our place for the weekend today. Here she's spying out some of the pictures in the album that she doesn't have at home. I see a little of where I get my enjoyment of pictures.

Feb 17, 2011 - Day 48 - Surface
Tonight I took a picture of some snow. My goal was to make it not look like snow with the help of post processing. I thought it maybe looked a little like the moon. One small step for mankind means one large driveway to shovel for Dwight.

Feb 16, 2011 - Day 47 - Eyes open Stu!
Hawks forwards Tyler Paslawski, Brendan Tash, and Stuart Holland are 3-wide across the offensive zone. Stu here is crushing one towards the Battleford North Stars' net.

Feb 15, 2011 - Day 46 - For my wife
Usually after school my wife heads for a little nap if she has time while I do whatever it takes to avoid one. (sleep is for the weak - is one of my sayings I joke with). So today I made a Lindor chocolate trail up the stairs to where she found her stash. She got her favorite chips, chocolates and some flowers.... she is totally worth it.

Feb 14, 2011 - Day 45 - Paslawski
Feb 14, originally uploaded by wdkinleyphoto.
Here we have Tyler Paslawski from the Nipawin Hawks holding his own against two Flin Flon boys. He was pushed onto the Flin Flon goalie (away jersey bottom center - still on the ice) after the whistle and held up to two defencemen who weren't happy about it. I love how the shot turned out with the glove falling in mid-air and the look of determination on his face.

Feb 13, 2011 - Day 44 - Why did I get married too?
Had a great time with my lady tonight. Some much needed alone time. We watched the latest Tyler Perry movie, "Why did I get married too?" The sequel to "Why did I get married." I love you babe. That brownie desert was awesome :)

Feb 12, 2011 - Day 43 - Little Doug
Caleb here is always so full of energy, adventure, and curiosity. Here he is reaching into the cup and pulling out of whatever he can find. (Without looking first!) I think that included a bottle cap, some plant leaves, and a coin or two. Thanks for coming to visit .... little Doug. :)

Feb 11, 2011 - Day 42 - Bath Time
This pic is all about the fork and spoon. As they are stuck with all the other utensils, trapped and waiting for their bath!

Feb 10, 2011 - Day 41 - Oops!
Sarah accidentally spilled a bunch of gumballs on the floor from my gumball machine. It made me smile.

Feb 9, 2011 - Day 40 - Home Screen
My wife won a new Blackberry Bold from Sasktel and decided to give it to me. As you can see our 3G network isn't up yet in Nipawin. We are told it should be within a few days though. It's going to be a great device. Thanks babe
Feb 8, 2011 - Day 39 - Wes
I had the privilege of being part of a team that brought in Wes Cates and Shomari Williams to speak all day yesterday in Nipawin. They had the opportunity to speak to students from Wagner, Central Park, LP Miller, and our Nipawin Christian School. As you can see their message of following your dreams, working hard, and being good friends were well received by our Nipawin students. They got to finish off the night speaking at our Faith night at the local jr hockey game.

Feb 7, 2011 - Day 38 - Mr Plant
Feb 7, originally uploaded by wdkinleyphoto.
This is one of Sarah's plants we have in the house. Very hearty and I was also impressed with how it turned out as a subject. Didn't give me any problems while working with it :)

Feb 5, 2011 - Day 36 - Return of the 50
I had loaned out my 50mm 1.8 for a few days this week and so when I got it back today I wanted to shoot something with super shallow depth of field. Our kitchen curtains became a fantastic subject.

Feb 4, 2011 - Day 35 - Reese
Never ever has my Les Paul been played with such passion. I only hope the guitar remembers this moment for the rest of its life.

Feb 3, 2011 - Day 34 - Galatians 2:20
Here's my favorite verse - I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

Feb 2, 2011 - Day 33 - Hawks vs Bruins
The story behind this picture is a good one. Lined up for the face off on the right we have Eli Litchenwald, a rookie to the Hawks who has had a great season so far. Left we have Jonathon Ceci, a former hawk who was recently traded to Estevan to play for the bruins. The ice plant was down so they had to lower the temps in the arena so the ice would stay solid. It was a cold, cold night in "the cage." You can even see someone's breath in the picture.

Feb 1, 2011 - Day 32 - Strong and Free
Feeling a little patriotic today. This country is an amazing place. I love living here and am blessed to be able to call Canada home.
